Suman Bhatnagar completed her M.Sc., M.A., and Ph.D. from MS University, Baroda, Udaipur University, and Gujarat University, respectively. She was associated with teaching, research, and extension at the College of Home Science and Directorate of Extension Education, Agriculture University, Udaipur, for 20 years. She worked as Project Officer (Education) with UNICEF, India, for two decades and represented India in many countries. Committed to rendering her services for ensuring the rights of children and the empowerment of women, she also writes books and articles for magazines and newspapers. Traveling is her passion, and she enjoys writing about her experiences.

Sumanta K Bhowmick spent his early life in Bhagalpur before moving to Delhi to work in the Parliament in 1996. He studied science and literature, completing his doctoral thesis on the poetry of Rabindranath Tagore and Emily Dickinson. Sumanta has published books of translation and contributed research articles, short stories, and essays to various journals. Commuting to his office through Central Vista triggered his imagination, transporting him to the days when kings rode the roads of New Delhi, the Imperial capital, and led him to the story of the princely palaces in Princesโ Park. His passion for the history of Delhi deepened with friends in the group Knowing and Loving Delhi Better (KLoDB), walking together every Sunday. Sumanta has contributed to plaques at Mandi House metro station and Cochin House. He delivered a lecture at the University of Oxford on the princely palaces in New Delhi. The spirit of Delhi, past and present, endlessly fascinates him.

Sumantra Bose is the youngest of three children of Krishna and Sisir Bose. He is a Professor of International and Comparative Politics at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Sumantra received his PhD from Columbia University, New York, in 1998. He is the author of six books.

Sumit Dutt Majumder, former Chairman, Central Board of Excise and Customs, joined the Indian Revenue Service in 1974, after his Masters in Physics from IIT Kharagpur. As Member (Central Excise) and then Chairman, CBEC, he was actively associated with the preparations for GST. He has been interacting with the trade across the country explaining the basics of GST. He presented his views to the Select Committee of Rajya Sabha on the GST Constitution Amendment Bill. On invitation, he interacted with Members of Parliament on GST. As Senior Advisor, International Tax and Investment Center, Washington, he has been addressing Asia Pacific Tax Forum and African Tax Dialogue on GST in India. The European Union (EU) appointed him for its project in India on Capacity Building in GST.
He is the author of a book on customs valuation and two more books on GST.

Sunanda Krishnamurty was a college lecturer in economics in India,
and a consultant with U.N. organisations in Bangkok and Geneva.ย As a
literary translator, Sunanda has earned a name by translating the stories and
novels of Rabindranath Tagore and Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay, which were
published under reputed banners. She is an active member of the Geneva Writers

Sharma
Sunayan Sharma, formerly a member of the Indian Forest Service, served as Wildlife Warden at Jodhpur, Rajasthan, during 1986-88. He served Keoladeo National Park, Bharatpur during 1988-91 as Research Officer and again during 2006-08 as its Director. During his second tenure, he developed an innovative scheme to remove the deadly Prosopis julifora from the Park. He also developed schemes to divert water from Chiksana canal and Govardhan drain to the Park which proved to be landmark schemes saving the Keoladeo National Park from being delisted by UNESCO as a world heritage site.ย During 1991-96, Mr Sharma served as Field Director, Sariska Tiger Reserve. He served Sariska again during 2008-10. His initiative resulted in closure of several marble mines inside the Reserve. He also oversaw the reintroduction of tigers into Sariska after they were decimated by poachers. This was the first such experiment in the world. He also innovated and implemented several protection strategies for the safety of animals in the Tiger Reserve. Sunayan Sharma is now the President of Sariska Tiger Foundation.

Late Sunil Gangopadhyay was one of the most illustrious literary figures in the world of Bengali literature. A critically acclaimed poet, best-selling novelist, and writer, he penned eighteen novels, numerous collections of poems, children's books, short stories, and essays. Many of his novels have been translated into English, and some have been adapted into cinematic works. He was the founder editor of Krittibas, a groundbreaking Bengali poetry journal, and the joint editor of the reputed Bengali literary magazine, Desh. Sunil Gangopadhyay attended several international literary conferences and received numerous prestigious awards, including Ananda Puraskar (1972 and 1989), Sahitya Akademi Award (1985), and Saraswati Samman (2005). He had been elected president of the Sahitya Akademi and was a visiting professor at Visva-Bharati University.

Sushobhan Adhikary, artist, art historian and art-restorer, is at present curator of the Kala-Bhavana Museum at Visva-Bharati. He has spent long years in Rabindra-Bhavana as conservator of Rabindranathยs paintings. Sushobhan has been writing extensively on Indian art and on the art of Rabindranath in particular since 1983. His book, Ronger Rabindranath (Tagore of Colours), authored jointly with K.K. Dyson, was awarded the Ananda Puraskar in 1997. Along with Supriya Roy, he has organised the gallery on Rabindranath in Mauritius and, in 2000, they jointly curated an exhibition of paintings by Rabindranath at the National Gallery of Modern Art, Mumbai.

Swatantra Sarjano, as a youngster, displayed a general avidity for learning. After hearing much about Bhagwan from friends, he felt compelled to meet him. He left for India, took sannyas in 1978, and worked at Osho's ashram as a photographer. Swatantra Sarjano also translated Osho's discourses into Italian and became famous for his cooking skills. Currently, he resides in Rome, Italy.

In 1982, he took over as the secretary of the newly-established Department of Ocean Development. Dr Qasim led India's first expedition to Antarctica in December 1981 and successfully organised and guided seven other expeditions till 1988. Known as the ยOcean Man of India and the Antarctica Hero, he was elected as the general president of Indian Science Congress Association. He has also held the positions of Vice-Chancellor, Jamia Milia Islamia and Member, Planning Commission, Government of India.
