O.P. Mishra is an active-duty officer in the Indian Police Service, belonging to the AGMUT cadre. He is the author of the book 'Policing Delhi: Urbanization, Crime, and Law Enforcement,' which provides valuable insights into the sociology of crime in a metropolitan city. In addition to his service in India, he has worked as an International Civil Officer in the United Nations Mission in Kosovo. O.P. Mishra has received the President's Police Medal for Meritorious Services. O.P. Mishra is a serving Indian Police Service Officer of the AGMUT cadre. His book, ‘Policing Delhi: Urbanisation, Crime and Law Enforcement’, is an important contribution towards understanding the sociology of crime in a metropolitan city. During the Great Purge, she was arrested and sent to prison for 10 years but was later released and sent into exile.
