Rosemary Crill Rosemary Crill was formerly Senior Curator for South Asia at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, where she was a curator for 36 years. Specialising in Indian textiles and painting, she has published and lectured extensively in both areas. Her books include Indian Embroidery, Marwar Painting, Indian Ikat Textiles, Chintz: Indian Textiles for the West and The Fabric of India, which accompanied a major exhibition at the V&A in 2015-16. He was awarded the Sahitya Academy Award in 1992 for Our Trees Still Grow in Dehra, his novel in English. He was awarded the Padma Shri in 1999 and the Padma Bhushan in 2014.

Ruth Whitehouse Ruth Whitehouse was a professional violinist before completing a PhD in Modern Turkish Literature at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London. She participated in the Cunda International Workshop for Translators of Turkish Literature in Turkey (2009-2012). Her published translations include: Ali and Ramazan by Perihan Ma?den, The Last Tram by Nedim Gรผrsel, Hotel Bosphorus and Bakhsheesh by Esmahan Akyol and a number of short stories in different anthologies.
