Pippa Mukherjee has a degree in nursing and a diploma in teaching. She
was on the committee of the Bombay Natural History Society and worked as nature education officer. She also taught natural history at schools in Mumbai and was environmental consultant for BEST for a year. She has published two books, Common Trees of India and Trees of India.
