Sacrifice

Sacrifice is a dramatized version of the first few chapters of Tagore’s novel Rajarshi, but the plot of the drama is a great improvement upon that of the novel. It was staged a number of times during Tagore’s life and is part of Words of the Master, a set of 12 books that have been translated by the Master himself.
