Susheela Punitha has translated excerpts on theatre in Karnataka from Kannada to English for "Regional Theatre Histories" at the Institute of Economic Growth, University of Delhi Enclave, Delhi. She has also translated several works of fiction for Oxford University Press. Susheela Punitha received the Sahitya Akademi Translation Award for English in 2015 for her translation of U R Ananthamurthy's novel "Bharathipura."
