Prasanta Sarkar
Prasanta Sarkar is an author, blogger, and apparel industry professional with extensive experience in garment manufacturing and fashion technology. He holds a B.Tech in Textile Technology from the University of Calcutta and a postgraduate qualification in Fashion Technology from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), New Delhi. He has worked across garment export houses, apparel management consulting, and currently with CGS Inc., an IT solutions provider for the apparel and fashion industry. Drawing from his strong industry background, Prasanta Sarkar has written practical, process-driven books such as Garment Manufacturing: Processes, Practices and Technology, Industrial Engineer’s Digest, and Kick Start Your T-Shirt Business, aimed at engineers, entrepreneurs, and professionals in apparel manufacturing.
