N.L. Batra
N. L. Batra has been closely associated with the conservation and preservation of India’s historical monuments for several decades. A civil engineer by training, he retired as Superintending Engineer from the Archaeological Survey of India, where he played a significant role in the study, restoration, and maintenance of some of the country’s most important heritage sites.
