Born on land in 1990, Merve had always dreamed of voyaging across seas. After graduating in law from Gazi University, she left her legal career in 2013 and became the captain of her own ship, setting sail into a technicolour ocean. She has worked in various theatres as an illustrator, poster designer and stage designer. A pirate and a dreamer, she learns new things every day and wants to make the world more colourful.
Now, she is a freelancer who writes and illustrates books for children, hoping to brighten more lives with her art.
