CHIMI LAMA is an artist and writer from Kurseong, West Bengal. She retired as a Senior Announcer at All India Radio, Kurseong. โJusticeโ from this collection has been adapted into an award-winning short film, and was picked by Sahitya Akademi for their Nepali Literature archive. Lama has remained a judge of the Sahitya Akademi Award for Nepali Youth Poetry.
Her two children are settled abroad, and she lives in Kurseong with her husband. Flight of the Munal is her debut collection of short stories.
