Can Tugrul was born in Istanbul. He studied Graphic Design at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, He has worked as ab art director for various advertising agencies. He has also produced drawings for print and digital media. He now lives in Ayvalik, where he writes and illustrates his own books as well as collaborates on illustrations with other writers.
