Atreyee Gohain is an Assistant
Professor of English at Bethune-Cookman University, Florida, where she teaches
courses in academic writing, postcolonial literature, and diasporic American
literature. She has a PhD in English from Ohio University and enjoys
translating from Assamese to English. Her translations have been published in leading
literary journals and anthologies
