Elizabeth Brunner: Her Life–Her Words, is a delightful collection of stories written by the Hungarian artist who came to India in 1930 with her mother, Elizabeth Sass Brunner, and made it her home. The book, with an introduction by Dr. Imre Lázár, contains her experiences in this country, rare photographs and beautiful paintings that the Brunners created.

Dr Imre Lázár is a scholar of international studies and a specialist in cultural diplomacy. He has curated seven exhibitions of the Brunners, including a centenary retrospective.

Kapila Vatsyayan is a renowned art historian and Chairperson of IIC-Asia Project; Former Secretary, in the Ministry of HRD; Academic Director, IGNCA; President, IIC; Member, UNESCO Executive Board; and Member of Parliament. She has taught at various universities in India and abroad. She is author of over 15 books and several research papers and monographs. Dr. Vatsyayan has won several awards including the Padma Vibhushan. She has been elected as Fellow of several art, music and cultural institutions in India and abroad.
